Spring is Here!

With arrival of spring comes a brand new slate of anime as they come and go with the seasons. Sadly this means the end for some anime but a beginning for others, and with this transition I thought I would take the time to give everyone an update on what I watched last season and what I am looking forward to for the next season.

Let’s start off with what animes I didn’t drop and have finished

The Pet Girl of Sakurasou

Problem Children are Coming from Another World, aren’t they?

Blast Of Tempest

Love Live! School Idol Project

So that is the anime I finished this season, let me know which one you want to hear a review from in the comments section below.

Next up we have the anime I am looking forward to for the upcoming season.

Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Come wa Machigatteiru

This romantic comedy revolves around an antisocial high school student named Hikigaya Hachiman with a distorted view on life and no friends or girlfriend. When he see his classmates talking excitedly about living their adolescent lives, he mutters, They’re a bunch of liars. When he is asked about his future dreams, he responds, Not working. A teacher gets Hachiman to join the volunteer service club, which happens to have the school’s prettiest girl, Yukinoshita Yukino.

Hyakka Ryouran: Samurai Bride

Second season of Hyakka Ryoran: Samurai Girls.

The story takes place in Japan in the early 21st century, in an alternate reality where the Tokugawa Shogunate has remained in power. In this reality, student councils are tasked with oppressing schools. Yagyuu Muneakira is a high school student who rebels against his student council with the help of girls who’ve had the names of famous samurai heroes passed on to them.

Hentai Ouji to Warawanai Neko

Youto Yokodera is always thinking about his carnal desires, but no one acknowledges him as a pervert. He learns about a cat statue that supposedly grants wishes. The boy goes to pray that he will be able to express his lustful thoughts whenever and wherever he wants. At the statue, Youto encounters Tsukiko Tsutsukakushi, a girl from his high school with her own wish—that she would not display her real intentions so readily.

Date A Live

Itsuka Shido is a high school boy. On the last day of the spring holidays, an explosion destroys the town and a girl in armor appears in front of him. Shido’s sister-in-law, Kotori, tells him that the girl is called “Special Disasterous Designated Creature: Spirit”, which causes a timespace quake. Kotori disclosed that she is the commander of the anti-spirit organization Ratatosk and orders him to go out on a date with the spirit girl. Kotori says, “I don’t ask you to beat the spirit. Just let her fall in love with you and save the world.”

Uta no☆Prince-sama♪ Maji Love 2000%

Second season of Uta no Prince-sama.

Taking place after the graduation of Haruka and the group she composes for, STA☆RISH, from Saotome Academy. This anime promises more characters and more great songs than the first.

This is only some the anime airing this spring so my list may be subject to change, but no matter what, I will be watching anime again this season and you will all be sure to hear about it. DID I mention I just finished Gurren Lagann and it was amazing? No, really I am going to be writing a review for this one sometime hopefully soon. Until next time this is Battledash Signing out.
